Sessions run at Barrington Recreation Center on S Barrington Ave, a five-minute drive from most of Brentwood and straight down the hill from Mandeville. Private lessons, 2–4 player small groups, and full squad sessions — same coaching, same format, on your side of the 405.

The field

- Lighted field, so weekday sessions still run properly through the winter. A 5:30pm start in December finishes under lights rather than in the dark.
- Street parking on S Barrington and the surrounding blocks. Arrive ten minutes early on weekday evenings; the rec centre gets busy after school lets out.
- Grass. Bring cleats, turf shoes slide here after the sprinklers run.

The travel fee is per session, not per player. A group of four splits it about $8 each, and it is settled with me at the field. Every booking charges only the base rate. Sherman Oaks is the home field and carries no fee at all.
Who plays here
Brentwood sits between two of the busiest youth programs on the Westside: the Westside Bears and Palisades Lacrosse Club both play matches within fifteen minutes of this field. If your player is on either roster and wants reps between practices, this is the closest place to get them.

Questions
Is Barrington better than driving to Sherman Oaks?
If you are on the Westside, yes. Sherman Oaks is the home field and carries no travel fee, but the 405 at 4pm makes it a 45-minute trip from Brentwood. Barrington costs one travel fee for the whole session — split across a group it is a few dollars each — and saves the drive.
Can we train here in the winter?
Yes. Barrington is lit, so evening sessions run year-round. Penmar in Venice is the one field that is not, and it stops near sunset.
Train in Brentwood
Bring two teammates and it is $100 each. Book a time, then send it to the rest of the group. Everyone claims their own spot at that same slot.
