What private lacrosse lessons cost in Los Angeles

A private lacrosse lesson in Los Angeles costs about $65 to $90 for a single session in 2026. That is what coaches list publicly. I charge $90 for a private hour, and $50 to $70 a player when you bring a group.
That’s the short answer. Here’s what moves the number.
What other coaches list
I read three public pages on October 3, 2026.
| Where | Listed price |
|---|---|
| CoachUp, Los Angeles | From $65 a session, plus the site's fees |
| STXZ Lacrosse, Los Angeles | $83 for one 90-minute lesson, $68 a lesson in a 12-lesson package |
| Athletes Untapped, Los Angeles | Says $30 to $100 a session is typical; the lowest coach listed was $80 |
These are starting prices. What you pay depends on the coach you pick and on what the site adds on top, and marketplace prices move.
What I charge
Every session is with me. No assistants.
| Session | 1 hour | 1.5 hours | 2 hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private 1:1 | $90 | $135 | $170 |
| Small Group, per player | $70 | $100 | $125 |
| Squad Training, per player | $50 | $75 | $100 |
Private packages: 3 × 1 hour for $250, or 3 × 1.5 hour for $360.
You pay by card when you book. The first 10-minute call is free.
What a month costs
One hour a week for 4 weeks, per player:
| Session | 4 weeks |
|---|---|
| Private | $360 |
| Private, with the 3-lesson package | $340 |
| Small Group | $280 |
| Squad Training | $200 |
Three things that change the price
How many players. This is the big one. A private hour is $90. In a small group the same hour is $70 each. Get to five players and it’s $50 each.
How long. Longer sessions cost less per hour. Two private hours are $170, not $180.
Where. Sherman Oaks is my home field and has no travel fee. The other parks add one fee per session: $30 at Barrington Rec, $40 at Cheviot Hills, $50 at Penmar Park. It’s one fee for the session, not one per player, so a group splits it. Four players at Barrington Rec pay about $8 each.
Private or group
Private 1:1. One-on-one coaching dialed into your goals: shooting mechanics, footwork, IQ, recruiting prep.
Small Group. Bring 2–4 players. High-rep, competitive work with intentional coaching and enough reps to actually improve.
Squad Training. For teams, club groups, and friend groups of 5+. Fast-paced team install with live competitive drills.
